1 Minutes of previous meeting (7 April 2008)
These were accepted as a true record. No amendments were submitted.
   
2 Matters arising
  1. Training AED - still no news.
  2. Communications problems - no progress.
  3. Access to Halls and Aqua Centre - no progress
  4. New volunteers - All clear except Kemi and Helen (who has decided not to join the scheme). Therefore all except Kemi are now absorbed into the rota.
3 Calls since the last meeting
  There have been 4 calls since the last meeting.  Jerry and Diane gave brief recaps of each event .
   
4 New website
Jerry has registered a website for the scheme at the university: www.sufr.co.uk. However, before this can go live some work has to be done by LIS staff to map the URL to the drive. The content of the site is largely done, with only a few pages remaining. Once it's live it's hoped it will prove useful to all in the team (as well as interested outsiders) and suggestions for additional content or amendments are welcome.
   
5 CPR practice
  This was not possible as there were no antiseptic wipes available.
   
6 Any other business
 
  1. Steve Roberts has delivered 3 pads of the patient clinical records (PCRs) - formerly incident report forms - and we go live with them on Monday 14 April. Jerry will photocopy the instructions and distribute them. Even though there may be times that we won't have time to complete the form before the paramedics leave we've been asked to do our best and, if the form is incomplete, either hand it to the paramedics as it is or retain it and complete it later, then pass it on to Jerry.
  2. Jerry will liaise with Steve Roberts regarding responders joining with paramedic crews overnight (Friday or Saturday) and report back. ACTION: JERRY
  3. Dan reported that his staff card didn't open the LIS staff door (TAC lock). Jerry promised to check with Nigel Morris that all responders' staff cards open all external doors on the campus. ACTION: JERRY
  4. Dan requested his certificate and Jerry promised to get the certificates of all the recently qualifies responders. ACTION: JERRY
