| It was confirmed that to date Catherine, Justin and Sarah had received CRB clearance. As soon as all new volunteers are CRB-cleared we will be able to start on the new rota. Jerry will chase progress re the ID cards. Catherine has offered to fill in gaps in the rota until the new rota is adopted. | ||

| Three calls have been received since 15 April. Issues raised included communications (again!), staff not following recommended procedure for requesting emergency medical assistance and some tips about spotting a patient experiencing a panic attack. | ||
| 4 | AMPDS code | |
| Jerry has received details of v12 of the AMPDS codes. This should have been adopted by the ambulance service on 1 May, but due to operational difficulties they have not done so and are still working with v11.3. The v12 codes differ considerably in parts and as yet nobody has decided which codes will be appropriate for first responders to respond to. Until these issues have been resolved we will continue to use v11.3. | ||

| Steve Roberts is officially no longer our First Responder Officer following a staff restructuring exercise in the ambulance service. Until personnel are in post in the new structure no training can be arranged and there's nobody to hand the staff manuals to. However, Steve is currently offering day to day support regarding such issues as supplies, etc. | ||
